We have a vacancy for a Trainee Business Developer who is eager to learn and who has some idea of what selling is all about. We require good communication skills (both written and verbal) with a level of enthusiasm that is catching! Your honesty and reliability will go hand in hand with your clear approachable telephone manner as you will be developing relationships both on the phone and face-to-face. Ideally you will have some selling experience including how to close a sale and be willing to put in the legwork in order to find new business. You need to be cool under pressure, motivated, with a strong team spirit.
You will require a clean full driving licence as this position comes with a company car (after 1 months' training) and a mobile phone/PDA. This position will involve driving in and around the Midlands area including Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Bristol, Nottingham, and Coventry. You will be using your PC knowledge as you will be using Word, Excel and an in-house database.
We will offer the successful candidate a competitive salary dependent on skills and experience and the benefits include 20 days holiday plus you will be invited to join the pension scheme and life assurance scheme after a 12 month period of service. Ideally you will be a non-smoker and Live within 10 mile radius of our Saltley depot.
