Instructions for Use and Care

Read and save these important safety instructions before using this fan. When using
electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following:

  • Use this fan only as described in this instruction leaflet. Other use not recommended may cause fire, electric shock
  • This product is intended for household and light commercial use ONLY
  • To protect against electrical shock, do not place the fan in a window, immerse the unit, plug or cord in water or spray with any liquids
  • Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children
  • Unplug the fan from the outlet when not in use, when moving the fan from one location to another and before cleaning
  • Do not operate the fan in the presence of explosive and / or flammable fumes
  • Do not place the fan or any parts near an open fame, cooling or other heating appliances
  • Do not operate the fan with a damaged cord, plug after a malfunction or if dropped or damaged in any manner
  • Avoid contact with moving fan parts
  • To disconnect, grip the plug and pull it from the wall outlet. Never yank the cord
  • The use of attachments is not recommended and may cause hazardous
  • Always use on a dry and level surface
  • Do not operate if the fan housing is removed or damaged in anyway

 

Operation

  • Set the fan on a dry and level surface
  • Plug the power cord into 230V wall outlet
  • The High Velocity Fan features 3 speeds designed to give you maximum flexibility and to meet all your air circulation requirements. LOW or MED speed setting can be used for the majority of your needs. However when you want maximum air movement, use the HIGH setting. Select the desired speed for your needs by using the rotary control switch
  • Adjust to your desired air stream by tilting the fan assembly to the required position

 

Care and Storage

  • Turn the control to OFF and unplug the fan before cleaning
  • Use only a soft, damp cloth to clean the fan
  • Do not immerse the fan in water and never allow water to drip into the Motor Housing
  • Do not use gasoline, paint thinner or other chemicals to clean the fan
  • To clean the fan blade, remove the front grille
  • Wipe the blade and grilles
  • Reassemble the fan by snapping the front grille into place
  • Store the fan in its original box or cover the fan to protect it from dust
  • Store it in a cool, dry place
