Important Safety Instructions for your mobile air conditioner

  1. Transport and store the portable unit in an upright position only

  2. As this is a mobile cooler always place on an even and level surface

  3. An opening in a window or wall is required to accommodate the exhaust hose to expel the hot air

  4. The air conditioner unit is connected to an earthed power supply of the correct rating (Refer to the rating label located on the back of the unit)

  5. The unit will cool when the room temperature is between 18°C - 32°C depending on the thermostat setting

  6. Operate this unit in an ambient temperature of 32°C or lower

  7. DO NOT use this unit for functions other than those described in this instruction leaflet

  8. DO NOT tilt the unit

  9. DO NOT cover or obstruct the mobile unit’s inlet and outlet grilles

  10. Your air conditioner has been designed to be used only in the office and similar conditions and should not be used for any other purpose

  11. Never unplug the air conditioner while it is working, this could damage the electronic circuits

  12. DO NOT use the unit in a wet room, such as bathroom to avoid the risk of electrical shocks

  13. Do not bend or crush the warm air exhaust hose

  14. DO NOT sit or place articles on the unit

  15. DO NOT use the unit with wet or damp hands

  16. DO NOT let chemical substances come into contact with the unit

  17. DO NOT use the unit in the presence of flammable substances or vapours such as alcohol, insecticides petrol etc

  18. DO NOT use the plug to start or stop the unit. ALWAYS use the intended control panel to start and stop the unit

  19. ALWAYS keep an air path of at least 50cm from the walls and furniture

  20. ALWAYS turn off the unit when it is not in use and remove the mains plug from the socket outlet

  21. ALWAYS turn the unit off and remove the mains plug before cleaning, carrying out maintenance or moving location

  22. Avoid the use of adaptor plugs, multiple sockets and/or extension leads. If there use is necessary, ensure they conform to the current safety standards

  23. Do not pull the electrical cable or place it near a source of heat: always unroll it completely to avoid dangerous overheating. If the supply cord becomes damaged, please call London Cool on 0800 440 444 or a qualified person must replace it in order to avoid a hazard

  24. The filter must be used with the product at all times, when removing it for cleaning always turn the unit off and unplug the mains plug from the socket

  25. Do not operate the fan with a damaged power cord or plug, after it malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged. If the power cord is damaged it must be replaced by London Cool or a qualified service engineer to avoid a hazard

Control Panel (Automatic, Dehumidifying, Cooling, Fan mode operation)

  1. Turn on the unit
    Plug in the power cord. The unit will beep twice
    Press the ‘ON/OFF’ button to turn the unit on. The LED displays the room temperature and operates in automatic mode

  2. Select operating mode
    Press the ‘MODE’ button to select the desired mode as shown below
    AUTOMATIC - COOLING - DEHUMIFIFYING - FAN

  3. Adjusting the temperature
    The adjustable temperature range is 15-31°C. Press the  (up) or  (down) button to increase or decrease by 1°C. The unit
    LED shows the target temperature for 5 seconds and then displays the current room temperature

  4. Adjustable fan speed
    Press the ‘SPEED’ button to select the desired fan speed as shown below
    LOW SPEED - MEDIUM SPEED - HIGH SPEED

  5. Turn off
    Press ‘ON / OFF’ button, the unit will emit ‘di’ sound and stop working

  6. Modes of operation

    Automatic Mode
    Once the Automatic mode is selected, the indoor temperature sensor operates to select the desired model
    When the room temperature >24°C, the unit automatically selects cooling mode and the upper fan turns to low speeWhen the room temperature is <23°C, the unit automatically selects fan mode and the upper fan turns to low speed

    Dehumidifying Mode
    The upper fan will run at low speed (the speed is not adjustable)
    The compressor and lower fan runs 8 minutes ON and then 6 minutes off automatically
    The unit has constant temperature dehumidifying mode (the temperature is not adjustable)

    Cooling Mode
    When the room temperature is higher than the set temperature the compressor will start to work
    When the room temperature is lower than the set temperature the compressor will stop working and the upper fan operates at its original speed

    Fan Mode
    The upper fan runs at set speed. The compressor and the lower fan motor will stop working
    The temperature on this operation is not adjustable

    Timer operation
    Press the ‘TIMER’ button to set the automatic off time while the unit is running
    Press the ‘TIMER’ button to set the automatic time while the unit is on standby
    The adjustable time range is 1-12 hours by the hour

    Swing operation
    Press the ‘SWING’ button to change the airflow direction. (The unit default setting is straight)
    Press the ‘SWING’ button once the airflow direction will change to swing at 120° right - left

    Sleep operation
    Sleep operation works in COOLING mode
    Press the ‘SLEEP’ button, the unit will run in sleep mode. The upper fans turn to low speed automatically. The set temperature increase’s by 1°C per hours for up to 8 hours
    The unit turns off after 8 hours while running in sleep mode

Maintenance for your mobile air conditioner
Before carrying out any maintenance works ensure the portable air conditioner unit is switched off and the three-pin plug is removed from the power socket.
Filter Maintenance

  • Take off the air filter cover from the back airflow vent

  • Wash the air filter by immersing it gently into warm water with a neutral detergent. Rinse the filter of detergent and dry it thoroughly in a shaded place

  • Allow the filter to dry naturally before replacing it

How to drain the condenser water
When the unit is running in cooling mode, condensed water will drain into the water tray. The buzzer will sound 20 times while the water tray gets full. An error code of E4 will be displayed on the LED panel and the cooling system will stop running automatically, and the fan will stop after 3 minutes automatically as well. To empty the condensate tank follow the below steps:

  1. Horizontally place the water plate under the drainage hole

  2. Disconnect the rubber plug from the drainage pipe and the water will flow out

  3. When the water tray gets full, push the rubber plug back into the drainage hole, and empty the water plate

  4. Repeat steps 1-3 until all the water has been drained from the tank.

In dehumidifying mode, no cool air is being delivered

The unit is defrosting & will run after the defrost termination. This is normal
