Industrial portable Air Conditioner unit 30HE Operating Instructions

Important Safety Precautions for your mobile air conditioner unit

1)Do not operate (or install) the Mobile air conditioner unit in the following area’s

    • Area’s containing explosive, combustible, corrosive or conductive gasses

Otherwise it will cause the electrical problems, and this cooler is not explosion proof

2)Environmental conditions during cooling operation. The optimum temperature range should be between 20°C (68°F) and 45°C (113°F) with a relative humidity of 50% or less. When the mobile air conditioner unit is used in an area where this temperature and humidity range is exceeded, the protection devise may activate. For example, the unit might stop running or the compressor might not function correctly

3)When used as a portable air conditioner unit make sure the mobile unit is placed securely on a flat, stable foundation free from vibrations. The floor should be strong enough to support the weight of the unit (mobile use or floor installation)
Do not use this unit for any application other than air cooling and or air circulation

Precautions for Use

  1. The air filters should be installed before the cooling unit is activated. This will prevent the entry of dirt into the spot cooler, and a subsequent reduction in cooling efficiency, or even failure
  2. Connect the necessary accessories (optional) on the cooled air outlet before switching the unit on
  3. When the machine is switched off, a 3 minute delay period should be observed. Turning the unit on before this time has elapsed may cause the circuit breaker to activate
  4. Turn the control switch to the 0/OFF position after a power failure. When the power is restored, restart the unit
  5. If any abnormal conditions are observed during operation, such as excessive vibration, noise, or burning smells, switch the unit off at the main power supply immediately and call London Cool on 0800 440 444
  6. Do not turn the control switch aggressively or unnecessarily
  7. The 30H can be used as a Mobile or fixed air conditioner or spot cooler unit.  Do not move the unit while the fan or cooler is running (in case of mobile use)
  8. If you are using as a mobile air cooler with the wagon kit the casters should be locked at all times, other than when moving the unit
  9. Do not insert you hands or other objects into the air outlets. Touching the rotating fan is hazardous.
  10. Do not obstruct the air inlets or outlets, as restricted air flow will reduce cooling performance and possibly activate the protection cut-off devise
  11. This cooler is a mobile or fixed spot cooler. In enclosed spaces it is recommended to use ducting to discharge the condenser (warm exhaust) air via a window or door
  12. Always use wire filters (optional) in area’s where sparking may occur and cover the power cord with a non-flammable protection cover
  13. Do not remove the plug from the socket by pulling the lead. Hold the plug when connecting or disconnecting the power supply

Instructions for use

In case of floor installation or mobile spot cooler use, the unit can be operated by means of the control switch on the control panel

In position l/FAN the evaporator fan is switched on. The unit circulates the air only
  • In position ll/COOL the compressor is activated as well and the cooling operation will start
  • Turn the control switch to 0/OFF position to switch the cooling unit of

Trouble Shooting

When the spot cooler unit is not working

  • Check if the power is on
  • Check if the fuse has blown. If the fuse blows again after replacement, repairs may be necessary. If this is the case contact London Cool on 0800 440 444
  • Check if the WARNING lamp (red) is on

Check and clean the air filters and re-start the unit. If the warning lamp is still on, switch off the unit and contact London Cool on 0800 440 444

When the cooling ability is insufficient

  • Is there a hidden heat source near the unit?
If so remove the heat source away from the unit, or relocate the unit
  • Is the unit standing in direct sunlight?
Use blind or curtains to obstruct the direct sunlight
  • Is the air filter clogged. Clean the air filter
  • Are there any obstacles obstructing the air inlet or outlet? Remove the obstacles away from the unit

If the problem persists after checking all the items mentioned above, switch the unit off, disconnect the power cord and contact London Cool on 0800 440 444
